To ensure the best results, we ask that you arrive to your appointment with clean, dry, and completely untangled hair. Avoid using products, buns, braids, or any style that disrupts the natural pattern of your hair. If your hair is tangled or knotted, we may have to reschedule your appointment to not affect the quality of service.

STEP I: Schedule your Appointment with Us

Our booking system is designed to provide you with the best service. The schedule opens monthly, so we encourage you to plan ahead. To book, we require you to send us clear photos of your hair (front, side, and back), along with inspiration images, your full name, phone number, and availability. A clear and concise message with this information will help us reserve your space efficiently.

Please avoid sending images with filters, buns, braids, or in situations that do not represent your current hair. We want to see you and your hair in its most natural state, with good lighting and without distractions. This will allow us to offer you a truly personalized service.

STEP II: Wait for Confirmation

Once we review all of the information provided, you will receive a confirmation email. This email will include a link to issue a payment, which is essential to secure your space. It is important to note that this payment is non-refundable and non-transferable in any way.

Please keep an eye on your email. If you do not receive a response as soon as possible, your space will be given to another client. Therefore, it is imperative that you complete the payment process as soon as possible to guarantee your reservation.

It is important to mention that spaces are not reserved without the corresponding deposit. The space will be assigned to the first person who sends the payment, which guarantees their place in our exclusive service.

STEP III: Clear Policies for your Comfort

As soon as you receive your confirmation email, we require a $50 deposit to secure your appointment, which is non-refundable and non-transferable. This deposit guarantees your spot and allows us to offer you a timely and quality service.

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance, and late arrivals of more than 10 minutes will result in automatic cancellation of the appointment. These policies allow us to respect the time of all our clients and maintain excellence in our service.

STEP IV: Appointment Time and Salon Rules

To ensure a smooth and relaxing experience, we ask that you plan your arrival in advance. If the trip to the salon will take you an hour, we recommend leaving 20 minutes early. Please arrive at the salon exactly at your appointment time, not 20-30 minutes early. Arriving 5 minutes early is perfect.

Companion Policy

  • Ages 18 and up : No companions are allowed, except in the case of nursing mothers, who may bring the baby's father or a support person.

  • Minors : Only one companion is allowed. Siblings, cousins ​​or other relatives are not allowed. The companion must always be attentive to the minor and is responsible for his or her care.

  • #YanyaKids : If you are bringing a child, be sure to bring entertainment, snacks, and games to keep the child comfortable during the service.

Duration of Service

Our services are a ritual that cannot be rushed. Depending on the amount and condition of your hair, the service can last between 2 and 2.5 hours. We recommend that you bring snacks and water for your comfort during this time.

Payment Methods

We accept debit and credit card payments through ATH. We do not accept American Express, ATH Móvil, Venmo or cash. However, we recommend that you bring some cash in case any problems arise with the payment system.

STEP V: How to Bring the Hair

To ensure a precise and high-quality cut, it is essential that your hair is in optimal condition. Hair is cut dry, so it must be clean (washed the day before or the same day), without products applied, and completely dry and untangled (no knots). This allows us to work with your hair in its most natural state and achieve the best results.

Specific Instructions:

  • Natural Hair : Please come to your appointment with your hair Loose and natural . Avoid wearing your hair up, in buns, donuts, braids, or when it's wet. Don't detangle your hair when it's dry, as this can alter your natural curl pattern.

  • Washing and Detangling : When washing your hair, only detangle it in the shower with conditioner. Outside of the shower, detangle your hair with your fingers upside down and let it air dry. Rely on this process to maintain the integrity of your hair.

  • Knots and Tangles : If your hair has unmanageable knots or is tangled to the point where it is difficult to section off the hair for cutting, we will unfortunately have to cancel your appointment. This is to ensure that we can devote adequate time to each client and maintain the quality of our service.

STEP VI: Responsibility for Appointment

Your appointment is an important commitment, and your punctuality and preparation are essential to ensure quality service. Please keep the following policies in mind:

  • Cancellations and No Shows : If you are unable to attend your appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours notice . Last minute cancellations or lack of notice will result in the loss of the opportunity to reschedule your appointment or schedule a new one.

  • Hair Cancellation : If you do not follow instructions on how to prepare your hair for your appointment (such as arriving with tangled, wet, or product-laden hair), your appointment will be cancelled. This allows us to maintain the quality and efficiency of our services.

  • Late Arrivals : We value the time of all our customers. If you arrive later than 10 minutes late , your appointment will be automatically cancelled. This is necessary to not affect the time allocated to the following clients and to ensure that everyone receives the attention they deserve.

Terms and Conditions

By submitting your deposit to schedule your appointment with us, you accept and agree to all of the conditions set forth above. You also understand that if you fail to comply with any of the instructions or conditions mentioned above, your appointment will be immediately cancelled and the deposit will not be refunded.

Before and After Photos and Videos

By submitting your deposit to schedule your appointment, you agree and accept that photographs and videos may be taken to document the condition of your hair upon arrival and the final result after the service. These images and videos will be used for record purposes only and will not be posted on our social media if your face is featured unless you expressly communicate your wish to do so. We value your privacy and are committed to respecting your preferences at all times.
